If you have questions or are experiencing problems, please email the Help Desk and give a detailed account of the nature of your problem. If this is an emergency or you are unable to email the Help Desk, you may call us at 417-447-7548. You can also visit our Online Help.

The Student Computer Help Desk is located in the Information Commons building in front of the main switchboard. This help desk is all about “Students Helping Students.” The Student Computer Help Desk—staffed by student workers—primarily services other students with technology issues, such as the following:

  • Student password changes while on campus (photo ID required)
  • Wireless internet set-up instructions
  • MyOTC assistance if student is on campus
  • Campus Maps
  • Campus and Technology Resource Information

Student Computer Help Desk will be closed on the following dates:

Martin Luther King Jr. Day – January 16, 2017

Presidents’ Day – February 20, 2017 – February 21, 2017

Spring Holiday – March 17, 2017

NOTE: Opening dates, times and hours of availability are subject to change based on staff availability, student use and administrative requirements.

The Information Technology Help Desk—located in Graff Hall, Room 205—provides OTC users with technical support and provides a central point to report problems or issues. This full-service help desk assists faculty, staff, and students with OTC computer-related problems. The OTC Help Desk also provides assistance with various issues, including the following:

  • Student password changes while on campus (photo ID required)
  • All Employee Issues
  • All Campus Computer Issues
  • Student password resets if student is not on campus
  • Student technology issues if student is not on campus
  • The OTC website
  • The phone system
  • Hours of Operation

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

If you experience problems during hours that the Help Desk and/or the Student Help Desk are closed, email the Help Desk or call 417-447-7548 and leave a voicemail. Someone will address your issues on the next business day.
