Student DocuSign Resources

DocuSign is a form filling and digital signage application that OTC uses to reduce paper usage. Filling in these forms and “signing” your authorization on these documents is the electronic equivalent as if you had signed with pen on a physical paper copy.

Information/Instructions

Any DocuSign documents you need to sign will either have a link sent to you via email, or will show up as a link in MyOTC.

  1. To begin, simply fill in the fields as required, and click Begin Signing.
  2. When your form loads, check I agree to use electronic records and signatures, and click Continue.
  3. Fields with red borders are required to be filled in before the form can be submitted. This could include text boxes, check boxes, radio buttons, and/or drop down menus.
  4. If you see this arrow & paperclip icon, an attachment is required. See more: Attaching Files for Upload in DocuSign.
  5. At the end of the document there will usually be a signature field. Click the icon to fill in your signature.
  6. When you have completed the document, click Finish.

 

FAQ:

How much time do I have to complete these documents?

  • Usually after 7 days you will start getting email reminders to finish the document if it has been started. If the document is incomplete after 120 days, it will be invalid.
